About CityReach Kidz > Oakden

CityReach Kidz at our Oakden campus is for children from age 0 to grade 6. It includes a dynamic Sunday morning program with gospel-centred curriculum, our after school program ‘Big Fridays’ (scroll down for more info) and other special events throughout the year.

On Sunday mornings there are four programs to suit the different age groups (more details below) that run during the school term, with the exception of Pebbles which continues during the school holidays.

Our team of qualified children’s workers and helpers provide a safe and caring environment that is focused on building relationships with both children and their families. Simply sign your children in at the information desk in the foyer on arrival.

For newborns, our parents’ room is available at the rear of the church if you need to feed or tend to your little one during the service.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
– Matthew 19:14

Pebbles is for children aged 0 – 2. Our room is fresh and clean with interactive play items matched especially for this age group. We seek to include Bible story time and songs that help the children hear and learn about Jesus. We’re more than willing to feed your child any food you supply while you enjoy the service.

Rock Climbers is a Bible-based program that is catered to children ages 3 – 5. Our leaders love to teach children about how Jesus can make a difference in their lives. Children are given time to sing, play, hear a Bible story, and do a simple craft.

Explorers (for Receptions to year 2s) explore God’s Word in a bright and cheerful classroom through activities such as games, stories, craft, singing, group work, Bible skills, prayer and play. Children learn more about God and the Bible all while doing exciting activities each week.

Solid Rock Kidz (for grades 3 to 6) continue to learn more about Jesus and how to build a ‘rock solid’ faith in God. Our leaders love to teach kids through stories, games, discussions and competitions. Small groups give kids opportunities to share personally with other kids their own age.
