GAIL THOMSON

Long term missionary in Columbia (South America).

Gail and her husband and 4 small children moved to Colombia in 1973. It was a pioneering work - making disciples, teaching them and seeing a church established. The Lord blessed the work and they were able to see various churches planted in the city of Armenia and surrounding areas. In 1977 they also commenced an orphanage for abandoned children which they continued for several years, working with another Australian couple. For several years they ran a Training Centre for believers with a desire to serve the Lord - teaching them a trade with which they could support themselves financially, and also doing intense Bible Study. Since the death of her husband she’s been working principally with Ladies and Youth.

Trevor and Manoli Allan

Trevor is Australian and his wife Manoli is Spanish. They met in the late 1970’s while working on the ship Doulos run by Operation Mobilisation. They married in 1980 and now have 3 adult children.

They’ve been working in Spain since 1981 and over the years their work has taken on many different forms from a Coffee-house outreach in the port area to helping set up drug rehabilitation centres to Social outreach and since 2000, church planting in towns where there are no churches. They’re now into their third church plant.

They’ve always been passionate for youth and find a lot of exciting opportunities in Spain...like evangelising on the CAMINO (Way) to Santiago.
