As Pastor’s we were praying and asking the Lord, “What are you doing in this season?”

As we prepare for a lock-down and social isolation, and as we were praying, a thought started to form in my mind, maybe, he is “Renewing the church to impact the world.” You see we know that this is already a season of uncertainty, but we also know that it is going to be a season of trial and difficult. But I am hoping that through this season of difficulty and social isolation that we will learn the lessons that God is seeking to teach us. I am hoping that he will give us the grace to repent of the idols that this season surfaces and we will come back to our first love (Rev 2:4).

So let’s pray together that this will be a season of renewal and revival in our land.

What does this mean?

  1. Worship at Home through our online service
  • Everyone meets for worship at home on Sunday in their own homes, with only their own families.
  • If you are by yourself, meet with a friend or two, and hold House Church together - practising social distancing
  1. Stay connected in Community Groups Online
  • We encourage you to meet with your Community Group using Google Hangouts (, Zoom (, or other video conferencing tools.
  • We support you meeting one-on-one with others in your Community Group for mutual encouragement - making sure we do everything to keep each other healthy.
  • At all times maintain a 2 metre distance to people who aren't living in the same house as you, no matter what activity you are doing

3. Draw near to Jesus and be renewed

This is our moment in our generation to surrender and live for our Lord Jesus. Let's read our bibles, pray, give and point people Jesus like never before.  To help with this we will be creating online resources to equip our members for mission and we will be creating a coronavirus fund to help people in need.

I know it is difficult for many people, but it is now time to turn our hearts towards heaven and seek Jesus like never before.
